PLAYING ON ICCUP'S LADDER

- You must have the latest version of StarCraft installed.
- You must add the Abyss gateway into your registry.
- Ladder games must be played on the official iCCup maps.
- Ladder games MUST be played on One on One mode (for 1v1) and Top vs Bottom mode (for 2v2), otherwise they will not count.
- When playing a 2v2, make sure to use "/ally *partner*" and make sure that your partner uses "/ok". Without these commands, your game might not be reported correctly.
- Games played on certain maps, called Maps of the Week (MOTW), earn the winner 130% of the points. You will not get this bonus if you are not using the iCCup Antihack Launcher.
- The Launcher is optional. You can see who is running the Launcher in the channel and the pre-game lobby.
- If you decide to play against a user who is not running the Launcher, you are responsible for the risk of unfair play. We do NOT review hack accusations unless you provide screenshots proving that the Launcher disconnected your opponent for a hack attempt.
- The launcher prevents the use of hacks, it is not 100% safe but it is very hard to bypass. If you are going to accuse someone of using maphack, please watch the replay a couple of times first and be confident of your accusation.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

- You are allowed to transfer your stats from one account to another once weekly. You can do this by typing "/transfer *newaccount*" from your old one, but you must first pass an IP/owner check by logging in to the new account at least once.
- You are allowed to reset your own stats once weekly. You can do this by typing "/clearstats YES". You cannot reset your 1v1 or your 2v2 stats separately.
- Offensive accounts (examples: "ICCUPsucks", "ADMINgay", "fuckUSER") are not allowed, and will be deleted.
- Administrators CANNOT reverse bad transfers or resets. Be careful to transfer stats FROM the old account TO the new one, and reset only if you are certain that you will not regret it.

(Please Note: If you do /clearstats YES or /transfer NEWACCOUNT you can not do either one of them for another week. They share the same time limit, if you do one you cannot do the other.)

HOW TO COMPLAIN

- If the server has recorded your match, go to your matchlist on the site, and find the game. Then make a complaint for it with the option next to it, and upload the replay.
- If the server has not recorded your match, you must post in the Complaints Forum with the required information (ranks before the game and the replay).
- Be sure to read THIS before posting a forum complaint.
- Ladder Admins are not allowed to help you through our gaming server. Your problem has to be public, so that another admin may take a look at it if there is a problem with the original decision.
- If you disagree with an admin's decision, or find him misbehaving, post in the Complaint about an Admin forum.
- You can only post a complaint about a game if you played the game on the same account.
- You may not post complaints with fake replays. Such behaviour will be punished with a 2 week lock.
- Only players DIRECTLY involved with the case (and admins) may post in that forum. Other posts are treated as spam, and are punished with a 1 week lock. The same applies for insulting or disrespecting a user or an administrator.

BUGS

Not allowed to use:
- Flying drones and templars
- Terran sliding buildings
- A bug which allows your units to remain stacked while moving/attacking
- Allied mines
- Intentional dropping lurker and SCV – defined by referee
- Observer over turret
- Drone "Gas walk" to get through blocked entrances

Use of these bugs will be punished with:

- Total reverse of the game (if abuser won).
- 1 week lock.
- 1st warning.

Second offense:
- Reset & Ban.

Allowed to use:
- Plague on interceptor
- Units pressed through
- drops to defuse mines
- Mineral walk
- Manner Pylon
- Lurker hold position

DISCONNECTIONS (1v1)

- If there is no advantage for any player, the disconnected player has the right to ask for a point refund. The recorded winner's points will remain.
- If the disconnected player was clearly losing the game, his points will not be refunded.
- If the disconnected player was clearly winning the game, the match will be reversed.
- The match must be at least two minutes long to count. However, intentionally disconnecting under two minutes because of a disadvantage (failed rush, gassing, etc.) will be penalized.
- If the game was not recorded by the server, we will only report it manually if one player clearly won the game.

DISCONNECTIONS (2v2)

- If there is no advantage for any team and one player drops, his ally must leave the game immediately and request a point refund. The recorded winners' points will remain.
- If the dropped player's team was clearly losing, their points will not be refunded.
- If the dropped player's team was clearly winning the game, but his ally is unable to win alone, he must leave the game immediately and request a reverse of the game.
- The match must be at least two minutes long to count. However, intentionally disconnecting under two minutes because of a disadvantage (failed rush, gassing, etc.) will be penalized.
- If the game was not recorded by the server, we will only report them manually if one team clearly won the game.

BACKSTABBING (2v2)

- Any form of backstabbing or betraying your partner in a 2v2 will result in permanent ban. Repeated offense of this rule will result in your account being banned via ip.

ABUSE

- Freewins are not allowed. Any wins/points received in this manner are deducted. If the abuse consists of over 5 games, it will result in the reset and lock of all accounts involved.
- Avoiding a loss is not allowed. Repeated drop hack, intentional disconnection and/or flying away with buildings will be punished with a reset and lock.
- You may play the same player only a limited number of times per day, regardless whether the games are legit or not. The system is as follows:

1) D and C level: 5 games per day
2) B level: 9 games per day
3) A level: 13 games per day.

This is because it's progressively harder to find a variety of opponents at higher ranks, because there are less high-ranked players overall, and because abuse is less likely in the higher ranks (risk, effort). However, in a suspicious case, replays will be demanded.

HACKING

Use of 3rd party programs (such as hacks), with the exception of our Launcher, is forbidden. The purpose of the Launcher is to detect it, disconnect the person using it, and destroy the game.

- If your opponent used such a program, you must take a screenshot of the Launcher's message and save the replay. Then you must make a regular complaint (with the replay, through your matchlist) for us to report your win manually.
- Usage of 3rd party programs will result in a reset/lock of ALL accounts sharing the IP of the one disconnected for hack.
- Second offense will result in an IP ban.

BADMANNER

- If a user is insulting or harassing you, the best thing to do is use /ignore and take a screenshot. Severe and repeated offenses will be punished with a temporary lock of the offender's account.

PAUSING

- A player is allowed to pause during a game, but his opponent is allowed to unpause at any time. When you start a game, you are responsible for finishing it.
- We do not review complaints involving pause.

For other cicrustamce outside of this faq, admin decision will be applied.
